Britt Baker returned at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Baker returned after Mercedes Mone won the NJPW Strong Women's Championship, coming out on the ramp, posing and then leaving. Mercedes stood in the ring and posed with her NJPW Strong Women's Title and AEW TBS Title.

Baker hasn't wrestled since the September 16, 2023 episode of AEW Collision when she lost to Kris Statlander in an AEW TBS Title match.
She has made media appearances for AEW during her time away from the ring.
