Hangman Page Announces He's Not Cleared To Compete, Brawls With Jon Moxley On 12/9 AEW Rampage

Hangman Page still isn't cleared, but he's not afraid to get physical.

The former AEW World Champion suffered a concussion on the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Page missed a few weeks, and he returned on the November 30 episode of AEW Dynamite and brawled with Moxley. The following week, Moxley stated that Page knew where to find him, seemingly challenging him to a fight.

On the December 7 episode of AEW Rampage, Moxley defeated Konosuke Takeshita. After the match, Page confronted Moxley and told him that the doctor wouldn't clear him to compete. With that in mind, he had an excuse for not thinking clearly, and he took the fight to Moxley by hitting him with a microphone. The two former champions brawled, and the fight ended with Hangman getting sent into the ring post. Officials then helped Page to his feet, as he apparently hadn't fully recovered from the concussion.

It is unknown when Page will return to the ring. Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
