Liv Morgan Said She'd 'Probably Be Out Another Four Weeks' Before 6/23 WWE SmackDown Return

Liv Morgan was forced to take time off following the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown when she suffered a shoulder injury. The injury forced her and Raquel Rodriguez to vacate the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles.

Morgan returned to television on the June 23 episode of WWE SmackDown, reuniting with Rodriguez to confront reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler.

Speaking to the Toronto Sun before her return, Morgan said she would “probably be out for another four weeks.”

Obviously, that wasn't the case. She returned to the ring at the June 24 live event.

“It’s my first injury so I was definitely very dramatic in the beginning,” Morgan laughed. “I’m not used to being hurt, I’m not used to taking time off, but I’m trying to be grateful for this time off and enjoy it while I have it because once we get going, it never stops.”

Morgan is set to team with Rodriguez to face Rousey & Baszler at WWE Money in the Bank.
