Matt Riddle Has No Feeling In His Toes Due To Frostbite, Would Still Sell An Attack On Them In A Match

Matt Riddle says he has no feeling in his toes.

Matt Riddle is an eccentric guy. One of the ways he displays this while wrestling is by wrestling barefoot. While talking about this during an appearance on the Barstool Rasslin' podcast, host of the show Brandon Walker joked that if he was wrestling Riddle, he would simply step on his toes because they are exposed.

Matt Riddle took the opportunity to reveal that he had no feeling in his toes after suffering frostbite when he was a child. However, a pro's pro, Riddle says if the match calls for him to sell and attack to his toes, he will tell that story.

“Funny story, the toes have no feeling. I got frostbite on them when I was a child, when I was visiting Wisconsin in the winter. I wore some Vans sneakers and played outside all day, and then got some frostbite on the toes and lost feeling on the skin surface. If I break my foot, I’ll feel it. But when I kick, or slap or whatever, nothing. So stomping on the foot, and I fought in the UFC, where people stomped on my foot all the time. I got numb feet, but if we’re in a match and that’s the story, I’ll sell it.

Elsewhere in the interview, addressed the possibility of wrestling Bill Goldberg in his last match. Read Riddle's comments here.
