Dante Chen is back in a big way.
On the May 21 episode of WWE NXT, Lexis King had a backstage confrontation with Mr. Stone. King then came to the ring for a match. Mr. Stone came out and revealed Dante Chen as King's opponent. They went back and forth, and Chen scored the win by pinning King with an inside cradle after Stone distracted him.

After the match, NXT General Manager Ava congratulated Dante Chen. Chen thanked her for the opportunity, and she said it was Stone's doing. Chen shook hands with Stone.

The bout marked Chen's first match on NXT TV since the October 24, 2023, episode, where he lost to King. He has since competed at NXT live events, and he has wrestled on NXT Level Up. Chen has also competed on WWE Main Event, and he lost in a brief match against Bron Breakker on the February 23 episode of WWE SmackDown.
