Mustafa Ali arrives on WWE NXT.
Mustafa Ali appeared on the May 31 episode of WWE NXT during a tag team match between The Dyad's Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid vs. Wes Lee & Tyler Bate. During his appearance on commentary, Ali reminded everyone that he actually went undrafted this year and is a free agent, allowing him to show up on any brand at any time.
After the match, which Lee & Bate won, Ali got into the action when Joe Gacy decided to attack Wes Lee from behind, leading to Mustafa Ali coming in and attacking to save the NXT North American Champion.

Prior to this, Ali had just lost a WWE Intercontinental Championship opportunity to Gunther at WWE Night of Champions.
