Roman Reigns is not scared to fight Brock Lesnar.
In an interview on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg, Roman Reigns was asked about Brock Lesnar punching Braun Strowman in the side of the head at WWE Royal Rumble. The host of the podcast asked Reigns what he would do if Lesnar were to "shoot" against him at Wrestlemania 34.
"If he throws two at me, I'm throwing three right back," said Reigns. "One of the easiest things about wrestling Brock is there's not much thinking about it, it's just physical. I've done physical my whole life, I played football my whole life since I was seven, I played Division 1 football at Georgia Tech. I've seen and been around and I consider myself one of the best athletes in the world," he continued.
Reigns was adamant he would not be afraid to fight a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.
"I'm never scared to be able to push that button and 'let's go.'" If I have to protect myself, I am more than capable," said Reigns.
On last week's episode of Raw, Brock Lesnar did not appear again and Reigns was "suspended" for his disruptive behavior due to his displeasure of Lesnar getting special treatment. After suspending Reigns, Vince McMahon guaranteed Lesnar would be on Raw tonight.
In the rest of the interview, Reigns said Lesnar's unpredictability and UFC experience has translated well to the WWE ring. He also spoke about his relationship with the fans of WWE.
