That's one way to counter the Catch Clause.
In recent weeks, Tony D'Angelo has set his sights on the NXT Heritage Cup, which is held by No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Damon Kemp, and Myles Borne). The feud continued on the May 7 episode of WWE NXT, as Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo cost Dempsey and Borne their match against Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont.
Dempsey agreed to give D'Angelo a shot at the NXT Heritage Cup but noted that he would have to wait and see which member of the group he would be facing, as the Catch Clause allows every member of the group to defend the title.
Later in the show, D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo were shown beating up Kemp and Borne in the back of a car. D'Angelo sent Dempsey a message, noting that he was not in control. Tony and The Family drove off into the night. Dempsey was then shown leaving the arena, so it seems like he will face D'Angelo on May 14.

It was later revealed that The Family locked the original referee of the tag team match in a freezer.
