Tony D'Angelo keeps the cup despite the best motivational efforts of Wren Sinclair.
On July 30, Tony D'Angelo retained the NXT Heritage Cup Championship over Tavion Heights during the first week of WWE NXT Great American Bash 2024. D'Angelo defeated Heights with two falls. D'Angelo scored the first fall, and Wren Sinclair, an aspiring No Quarter Catch Crew member, left the crowd and rushed into the ring to motivate Heights with a slap to the face.
Her motivation worked immediately as Tavion scored a fall of his own with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. However, Tony D'Angelo ultimately recovered to score the final fall with a high-angle Spinebuster.

Sinclair continues to try to join the group after claiming she saw Charlie Dempsey "dispose" of Damon Kemp weeks ago. Learn more here.
