Aleister Black Thinks It Makes No Sense To Pair He And Zelina Vega On-Screen

Aleister Black says there is very little chance you will ever see him on TV managed by his real-life wife, Zelina Vega.

Recently, Aleister Black has undergone a moral metamorphosis on WWE TV. Now embracing the darker side of his personality, he has regularly been embroiled in matches against Kevin Owens, although he's come up short many times against Kevin.

With this change in his moral alignment, many began to wonder if Black will ever pair up on-screen with Zelina Vega, his wife. Speaking to Sportskeeda, Aleister says that while he never wants to rule it out completely, it is highly unlikely you will ever see this pairing on TV. Black would say but even though Tom and Thea have everything in common off-screen, the characters on television have very little reason to align with one another.

"I personally think that it makes no sense to put me and her together because Aleister Black and Zelina Vega don't have anything in common," said Aleister. "Tom and Thea, who are married, have everything in common, but the characters have literally no alignment with each other. So am I saying never, never, never, never? No, but right now it's zero to none. Like, there's nothing that's going to happen that is going to put myself and Zelina Vega together."

He continued, “I think, you know, they want to focus on [Zelina’s wrestling career] for a very long time. Which I think is rightfully so, because she's proven her mettle as a manager, she's proven to hold her own on the microphone. Even when she was a manager, she was like throw in the ring a couple of times. She has a few more matches than some of the people that were established, superstars on her brand before she made that switch. So, she wants to focus on being an in-ring competitor."

Thus far, Black and Vega have remained on the same roster. Keep up with the recent moves in the WWE Draft at this link.
