Brooks Jensen: The Sky Is The Limit For Gable Steveson

Brooks Jensen weighs in on how Gable Steveson is coming along.

Gable Steveson has only had one television match, a no contest against Baron Corbin at NXT Great American Bash, but he's been active at NXT live events in Florida. He wrestled Brooks Jensen at the December 2 NXT live event in Tampa, picking up a victory.

Speaking on the Scoop Slammed podcast, Jensen was asked about working with Gable.

"Gabe was someone that I watched in high school when he wrestled in college. When I was wrestling in high school, I really watched his stuff. I was a big fan of his. To be able to share the ring with him was a real honor.

"Just like Kurt Angle, for somebody who hasn't been in at as long as most people are down here, he is picking it up well. Seeing him train, seeing him bust his tail in the gym, the sky is the limit for him."

It is unknown when Gable will return to NXT TV.

Elsewhere during the interview, Jensen commented on using "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" by Journey as his entrance theme for a dark match. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
