CM Punk Wins AEW World Championship For A Second Time At AEW All Out

CM Punk makes history in Chicago.

In what was a very bloody affair, CM Punk managed to defeat Jon Moxley and capture his second AEW World Championship in the span of four months. By securing this victory, CM Punk has become the first man in AEW history to capture the World Championship twice in one calendar year.

CM Punk first defeated Hangman Page at Double or Nothing 2022 for the title but suffered a foot injury just 3 days later, forcing him to be put on the shelf.

He would lose his return match to Jon Moxley just 11 days before All Out but managed to secure the World Championship rematch.

Now, CM Punk was afforded the opportunity to win the championship in front of his hometown crowd in Chicago.

His celebration would be short-lived as he would be confronted by an old rival, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, MJF.
