CMLL stars will compete on the February 2 episode of AEW Rampage.
On the January 26 episode of AEW Rampage, AEW announced that CMLL stars would be coming to the company. During the January 27 episode of AEW Rampage, the broadcast team confirmed that Mistico, Voldador Jr., Mascara Dorada, and Hechicero would compete on the February 2 episode of AEW Rampage. Additional details were not immediately provided.
AEW and CMLL started working together in October 2023, as Mistico made his debut on the October 20 episode of AEW Rampage. There, he defeated Rocky Romero.

AEW also confirmed that Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) will face Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin) Private Party previously beat Top Flight on the January 17 episode of AEW Dynamite.
