Fightful has learned more details about Moose’s current deal with IMPACT Wrestling.
Moose’s contract was set to expire with IMPACT Wrestling June 30. At that time he’d have became an unrestricted free agent for the first time since 2016. However, he announced that he’d re-signed, which will put him with IMPACT for over ten years when all is said and done.
As mentioned in our previous reports, Moose re-signed with IMPACT Wrestling amid interest from other wrestling companies just a couple of years ago. At the time, IMPACT wanted to lock him down before he could officially get offers from outside the company, and he was signed to a relatively lucrative deal, though WWE’s Canyon Ceman had reached out to Moose to express interest. Much like 2021, IMPACT Wrestling made re-signing Moose a priority and wanted to get him signed before he hit free agency.
We were told that there were some in WWE who’d indicated interest to some degree. WWE have been in contact with free agents this year, but have no official main roster signings as of well.
We weren’t given a specific length on Moose’s deal, but were told that it legitimately was the longest in IMPACT Wrestling history, dating back to the start of the company over 21 years ago. They’ll have Moose signed well into his mid 40s.
