The first AEW World Trios Champions have been crowned.
During a highly physical and highly emotional contest, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were able to become the first-ever AEW World Trios Tag Team Champions. They won those titles by defeating Alex Reynolds, John Silver, and a former member of The Elite, Hangman Page.
During the match, Hangman, who is in the middle of rekindling his friendship with Kenny, Matt, and Nick continued to show remorse about targeting injured body parts of members of The Elite. However, in the end, Hangman accidentally hit John Silver with a Buckshot Lariat allowing Kenny to get the pinfall victory.
