Johnny Gargano will defend his newly-won NXT North American Championship next week.
During tonight’s episode of NXT, Gargano said he wanted to get a certain monkey off his back which is successfully defending a title and having a long title reign. To do so, Gargano said he would be defending his title on November 11, but no opponent was announced.
Gargano won the title back at Halloween Havoc in late October. Gargano defeated Damian Priest in a Devil’s Playground match, a stipulation decided by “Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal,” to become the new champion. Gargano’s wife Candice LeRae was unsuccessful in her title challenge at Halloween Havoc when she lost to NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai.
In addition, NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch will defend their titles against former champions Breezango. Lorcan and Burch defeated Breezango on the October 21 episode of NXT to become the new champions.

Later on in the show, Xia Li requested NXT General Manager William Regal to make a match between her and Raquel Gonzalez and Regal said he’ll see what he can do.
