The WWE's already hectic schedule is about to pick up steam.
After the bulk of the males on the main roster went to Saudi Arabia for the Greatest Royal Rumble last week, after the most recent episodes of Raw and Smackdown, the main roster embarked on its annual spring tour of Europe, which lasts almost two weeks, continuing a brutal stretch of travel for most of those on the roster.
NXT maintained a fairly regular schedule of events. Highlights included:
-Ricochet going one on one against Kassius Ohno
-Steffanie Newell having her first singles matchs under the WWE umbrella. Known as Nixon Newell on the independent circuit, she missed about a year of in-ring action, suffering a knee injury not long after she reported to the Performance Center last year.
-One half of two regular NXT tag teams, Heavy Machinery and Street Profits, teaming together as Montez Ford and Otis Dozovic joined forces on April 28 against TM-61
-Aleister Black making two defenses of the NXT Title, against Tino Sabbatelli and Velveteen Dream, respectively
