Thunder Rosa Returning On 12/23 AEW Collision, Teaming With Abadon Against Skye Blue And Julia Hart

Thunder Rosa gets physical in an AEW ring for the first time and over a year.

The December 16 episode of AEW Collision featured a lot of movement in the women's division of AEW. Abadon kept their winning streak alive with a defeat over Jazmin Allure. Following the bout, they were again confronted by Julia Hart but this time they attacked the TBS Champion.

Skye Blue interrupted this and shockingly assisted Julia in attacking Abadon. With the numbers game against them, Abadon received help from an unlikely source as Thunder Rosa left her post at the Spanish announce table and hit the ring attacking Julia and Skye before shaking hands with Abadon as their foes retreated.

It was later confirmed Rosa would return to action on the December 23 AEW Collision, tagging with Abadon to face Julia Hart and Skye Blue.

Thunder Rosa has not wrestled since August 2022 due to a back injury. At the time, her injury forced her to relinquish the AEW Women's World Championship. She has been regularly a part of Spanish commentary since then but did film portions of the early vignettes for Saturday Collision in her wrestling gear.

Here is the current lineup for next Saturday's AEW Collision:

AEW Collision (12/23)

  • AEW Continental Classic Blue League: Bryan Danielson vs. Claudio Castagnoli
  • AEW Continental Classic Blue League: Eddie Kingston vs. Andrade El Idolo
  • AEW Continental Classic Blue League: Daniel Garcia vs. Brody King
  • Thunder Rosa & Abadon vs. Julia Hart & Skye Blue
  • AEW Trios Championships: The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) & Billy Gunn (c) vs. Top Flight (Darius Martin & Dante Martin) & Action Andretti
