Chad Gable couldn't quite overcome his Luchador problem to make good on his New Year's resolution to win a singles championship in WWE on February 1
Dragon Lee defended the WWE Speed Championship against Gable on the February 1 episode of WWE Speed ahead of the WWE Royal Rumble. Lee cut the victory in four minutes and 22 seconds of the five-minute time limit.
Chad Gable nearly scored a victory with a Pinning Powerbomb. He also got a near fall with a Moonsault. In the end, however, Lee hit Operation Dragon (Destino) for the victory.
